Join our educators out in the gardens on a search for the bugs, insects, and critters that are an integral part of our world. This class aims to teach students how to identify insects with scientific taxonomy, the lifecycles and how they are similar and different, and the vital role of insects in our local ecosystems. Through interactive lectures, worksheets, hands-on activities, and a walk through our gardens, your child will gain confidence in the natural world around them and the vocabulary and experience needed to name, describe, and identify the little critters that might be scary at first, but that are important to everyone.
