Vin/Yin yoga blends two distinct yoga practices. Enjoy 30 minutes (rain or shine) of a Vinyasa yoga flow where students of all levels (from beginner to advanced) can practice movement and build up warmth. The last 30 minutes include a Yin practice where practitioners move into a position and hold the pose for several minutes, relaxing and settling in for a deep stretch.

Everyone needs to bring their own yoga matt or beach towel to practice on - blankets, blocks and straps will be provided.

Laura Martien is a 500 hour certified yoga teacher with experience teaching Vinyasa (flow), Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Yin, and trauma informed yoga practices. She delights in teaching students, of all levels, the benefits that yoga can have on the body and the mind.

Laura owns Lavender Fields, LLC, a small lavender farm located in Mayo, MD where she cultivates lavender flowers to make various products such as sprays, sachets, soaps, lotions, candles and more. The healing properties of lavender partners well with the philosophy of mindful living.
